Just received an invitation for a captain position at Paramount Airways on the EMB 170. I don't know much about the company, although the salary looks appealing at USD 8000/month net + USD 1000/month accomodation expenses. I am also interviewing at CX for a DEFO position. Any suggestion?

wait and go to CX if u get it...apples to oranges...do a search on Paramount

if youre in for the money........go paramount, its easy going, relaxed, no BS
if youre in for; books, training, training, training, reading, expensive city.....go CX
if you have the type on the 170 enjoy it for a while, you never know when the bonanza is gonna end
cx its not gonna go outta busines

As far as I know are ALL the simulators booked solid by the operators. Embraer normally offers a number of type ratings to the new operators.
