Jetstar (Asia) vs Tiger Air

Can anyone help me constructively compare employment with Jetstar (Asia) and Tiger Air of Singapore?
I understand that they have similar salaries and they both have their ups and downs, though generally positive comments.
However what about working conditions, especially rosters? How do they compare? How many days on/off? How many sectors per day? What duty period each day? Nights stops?
I read somewhere that Singapore allow 1000 hours a year. Is this so? What is the monthly legal limit? How many hours per month do these carriers usually fly?
