According to the Chinese pilot's (Yuan Sheng) statement, he was making more than $3,600 US dollars per month in China. $3,600 US dollar provides a comfortable living in China.
Even if he spoke perfect English, he would have to start from the bottom at a US airline. A junior FO for a US commuter jet (using Mesaba's pay scale) is $23/hour, and that number is before Mesaba's bankruptcy

I think his chance to find a pilot job is not bad at all:
- 12,400 hours of safe flying on record.
- I have never had any accidents and won a silver medal for safe flying.
- I have led many flights in different aircraft, such as the MD-11 and A340-600...
And why he choose USA, not India(the biggest democracy in the world) or other free 3rd world countries???

what you know are nothing but from the media.I am telling you ,even these media guys don't know the real deal. the 6 or 3 million were asked by the prvious owner. you know how much did they paid to get their asses moving? and who paid that much money? and tell you what ,they even got not bad pay from the new employee during the time they were off the work.
