Indian NAV/MET exams
Hi all
Am off to India hopefully (since am still waiting on computer number) soon to sit for the end of Oct Met, Nav and Regs exam. Have a simple question to ask: are the exams multi-choice like the Australian exams or similar to the ones i did in NZ which did not have mutli-choice questions as such.
I know some might think its a silly question but a yes or no would will highly appreciated.
Also, is the Air Nav and Met books by Seth (Seth Academy) sufficient for the exams??? or could someone recommend any others they used which were helpful??
Thanks in advance.

Affrim. Its Objective types!
NEgative on just Seths Book. Lets just say U need a lot of info from here and there. Also look into Surinder Singhs(also in delhi) notes. He seems to have a better passing rate than Seth for Nav. And then theres the 5-10% which could from from anywhere which u will never be able to cover. So Goodluck on clearing the lot!!!!
cheers

Hey BC
On the note of Seth's books - they are absolute ****. As an ex Deputy Chief Ground Instructor at JAA ATPL level, I ended up giving him most of my stuff & teaching him a few bits which are blatently wrong in his 300 yr old books!!
My recommendation would be to get hold of the "Ground Studies for Pilots" series by R.B Underdown (6th edition), as this obviously is where the DGCA pick up most of their qu's from, as they are verbatim in the exam.
Again I would personally say, depending on your knowledge, don't bother with any of the Indian lecturers - I'm afraid they all seem a bit out of touch. I visited Seth a handfull of times, but did the rest on my own & passed both 1st time, & with relative ease.
PM me if you need any further help.
Good Luck & all the best

Hi all
Was wondering if those who set for the July session could shed some light on the type of questions that appeared in their Nav/Met exams.
Type of questions relating to Payload etc as well would be quite helpful.
Those who set for previous Indian exams, your input would also be highly appreciated.
Thanks
ps. lucky_strike, thanks once again
