ajx interview

AJX interview

Interview is pretty straightforward. Remember the Japanese guys do not speak good English, so the questions will be very basic. Speak SLOWLY and CLEARLY, they will appreciate this. When you fly the sim, fly according to their procedures and profile, DO NOT try to show your existing operation is better etc. They are looking for people who:
1) can fly
2) more improtantly, will do it their way.
Medical, good luck, it's pretty tough and many guys have failed it. Not much study possible for that.
If you have a choice, opt for AJX much easier lifestyle but less money.

Hawaii Aviation

Does anyone have details on going thru Hawaii Aviation to get to ANA. Are the 3k total time they have advertised realistic? And how hard is it to get past the screening and interview?

Cool

To apply to ANA or one of it subsiduary companies it must be through a crewing contract company, (due to Japanese pilot union issues I think). PARC and HACS are the main ones but there are others. While I only have experience with one of them, they are both customers of ANA so there packages cant be that different, maybe just the way they structure them.
Applications are online, and there published requirements are ABSOLUTELY inflexible. There seems to be a lot of recruiting activity across all ANA fleets at the moment. Hope that was some assistance to those interested.
