M'sian DCA freezes foreign intake?

How true is that?

read from some threads that DCA is no longer issuing ATPLs to foreign students? and even all forms of aviation employment for new foreign entrants have been suspended till further notice?

Lots of rumours such as ....."I heard "so and so" said this and said that bla bla bla".

I'm just wondering if "foreigner" applies even to Singaporeans (like me) .

Appreciate all insights here.

The best is to contact directly the DCA as their policy is subject to variation. What was true yesterday is maybe no more true. It is a reason why there are so much different voices....

Thanks Asian Frog but I think it's unlikely that DCA will give any official reply. If they really want to restrict foreigners, it wouldn't be friendly to announce right? And should they say "welcome expats", you would still be guessing.....

So no replies from any bros out there? Rumours will after all be rumours, I'm afraid?.....because it's always A said this, B said that unless some staff from inside speaks out

I do have heard lots of rumours amongst co-workers.

I am still bonded until end of next year, so lets see what happens.
