Age limit for Singapore Airlines DEC ?

I recall some years ago that SQ had an age limit of 55 (?) for non rated DECs.The present recruitment info' does not mention any age limit.Does anyone know what limit they work to these days?(mainline and cargo). I have emailed SQ with the question but have received no reply. Thanks for any replies.Regards,qrh747.

Right now it's still Age 60. However, there is a strong possibility, the age will go up to at least 62 for a time then possibly up to 65..

Age limit for Singapore Airlines DECs

Hi Phil,Thanks for your quick reply.I perhaps didn't word my question accurately. What I was looking for was the age limit for actually starting a course as a nonrated DEC rather than the age limit for remaining in employment-can you help with this info' ? Thanks.
Regards,qrh747.

qrh747 You must not have reached your 55th birthday before joining SQ.

55yrs on joining gives you time to complete the 5 yr expat contract. Over the past year SQ has shown an arrogance beyond belief, all attempts at communication regarding a serious application have proved fruitless - by snail mail or email. An acknowledgement is just common courtesy, but nothing from SQ; perhaps Im just a looser!

True!

It is a fact: they simply don't care to reply, most of the times.
Courtesy? Forget about it.
