What does the total CPL/IR/accommodation package cost at LATC. What is the duration. As very few non-bumis are sponsored by MAS or Air Asia, will a self sponsored Malaysian citizen be employed by these local Airlines.

Guys, please, I do not wish to turn this into a race card issue. I am simply enquiring due to the present state of conditions and to find a suitable way to get my son, who is very interested, into flying.

Dear MASsenger,
The total cost will be RM 180k(fATPL + accomodation + food) for 1 1/2 years. Same goes to APFT in kota bharu. Not too sure about the job prospect since there isnt any self sponsored cadet has yet to graduate frm both school but one thing you might like to take into consideration is that APFT has signed a MoU/agreement with AirAsia in providing them pilots in the future.

MASSenger, i'm starting at HMA in near future. confirmed..

well...

it's about RM180k.

handful of locals, most are expats

training, 180hours+20 hours on full-glasscockpit simulaor(diamond)

food accomodations all are provided(inclusive of public holiday and weekends)..

, you need to know anything else??? PM me, hopefully i can help.

regarding job prospect, we will know after the second batch graduates. the 1ST batch is 100% MAS cadets.

currently, HMA is still taking MAS cadets. My Batch, previous batch(1 batch before me), and future batches all have 16 MAS cadets, 8 private.
