Tiger Expansion?
Someone mentioned a couple of months ago that Tiger Airways in Singapore are expanding and looking for 100 more crew by years end.
Does anyone have anymore details: how many new aircraft?
Has anyone applied and heard back? I'm 319 rated/experienced and have heard zip.
Cheers

Has the CAAS updated requirements for Tiger?
I would be very appreciative if someone can answer this question for me... for I find myself, as a PR, unemployed here in Singapore and hoping that in the coming months Tiger Airways may have an opportunity for me.
Three years ago, when I applied to Tiger Airways, the pre-hire paperwork sent to me had CAAS requirement printed: All pilots must have a minimum of 10 hours logged on an aircraft over 20 tonnes within the past 6 months. There is no flexibility on this issue.
I have airline pilot experience, turbine time, but just do not have the above stipulation.
The Tiger Airways career site only indicates:
Applicants should possess the following attributes:
• ICAO recognized ATPL
• Jet experienced, or more than 1000 hours on turboprop aircraft
• More than 1500 hours total time
• A320 rating, and experience, is a definite advantage however Tiger Airways does operate a self-sponsored training program for pilots not qualified on type
However, I very interested in confirming that the 10 hours logged on aircraft above 20 tonnes is no longer required. Also, I would be very interested in knowing what the interview process, training, etc. is for Tiger Airways from anyone kind enough to share this information. Thank you for your time.
