737-200 as of now, if they do expand to 757s it will be Capts only who will be hired, Indian govt law.

For your perusal

Hi there , u are right about the 757's but also as LW says on Capts. They have their niche market , but they treat pilots BADLY. They expect you to pay for your endorsement and bond you as well. They will drag you to court if you move from them and also drag your name into press coverage. The HR Management SUCKS. So dont bother unless you are very hard up.They have a few brazilian capts with them , as of a few days ago 5 co-pilots left them for JET , but being smart co-pilots they got CAVEATS from the court as BD did just as I mentioned above which was want to drag them to court. They have already grounded one plane for lack of pilots , more pilots are leaving for better treatment and greener pastures.I think they will in DREAM LAND and they are gonna come crashing down to earth soon.

cheers

Well Blue Dart and no doubt Air India Express can now breath easy.

Indian govt has now made a 6 month notice period mandatory for jumping ship.

rsoman,
I am not sure if BD or AI Express will breathe easy. I think certainly not AI Express as no one can join them now for the next 6 months. Maybe the air has been knocked out of AIX.

If your current contract with an airline says you only need 1 mth notice the govt or the airline cannot stop you from leaving.

6mth rule will be in effect for new joiners or if airlines plan to change employment contracts, which is doubtful.

PILOTS MARKET ! GUYS

Airlines will dare not try to change the current contracts, as it is they are begging pilots to stay.
