Balikpapan, can I fly here?
Hi guys,
I am a JAA fATPL, current, but while I seek work in the airline industry I am managing 4 contracts on Rigs in the Balikpapan area of Indonesia.
Balikpapan has 2 NDBs, a VOR, ILS, Scheduled jet services, Choppers (that I fly as pax on regularly) and also a Navajo and Islander that I see parked up all the time.
I was wondering, can anyone tell me who these two aircraft belong to and perhaps, could I fly them?
There are even some small turboprops that, if the price is right, I would pay for a type rating on.
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks
