Aircraft maintanence licence

Aircraft maintanence licence
hey ya....,
does anyone out there knows where to do courses to get an aircraft maintanence licence in malaysia?
I'm an aeronautical degree holder but i still cant join any airline as a maintanence eng since i dont have the aircraft type licence.
Or is malaysia airlines taking in degree holders to become maintanence eng after giving them extra course for the licence??
I'm sure a lot of them out there will asking the same question.....plz help us guys.

Hi Outlaw,
If you are in Klang Valley or Seremban area, kindly go and visit Malaysia Institute Aviation Technology (MIAT), located in Jenderam Hulu, Dengkil. I don't know the tel # neither the URL. This is the only organisation in Malaysia that I know of conducting aircraft maintenance courses up to the issuance of DCA aircraft maintenance licence engineer (without type rating). They should be able to help you. Even MAS send their apprentice to this organisation for a 4 semester course before they return to MAS engineering for further OJT.
Their hangar with B737 tail sticking out can be seen clearly (on left hand side) if you are driving on the highway from Nilai to KLIA.

Thank u so much for that info,it will surely help me so much in deciding my future.I think i've seen the place u'r talking about when i'm on the highway once but didnt know what was it.All the while i've been thinking that its the AIROD hangar.He!He!
