Thumbs down

Q 1013,

is it that bad being an FO in AA?Heard that the FO's guys can bring home bout 9k,with 80-95 hrs flying-thats even better than your counterparts in MH.

Well said Q bout FOs pay-but dont you think the increments will be more inclined to the CAPTS since the suggestion and review is made by the CAPTS(read:mgmnt cpts) themselves???And according to my sources, sounds like the FO's end up doing more work than the CAPTs themselves!!Overworked but underpaid??

Pity the FO's at times,NO FOOD,NO PERKS,get JERKED-underpaid.I almost die laughing looking at the one of the FO's NAV bags-its full of all sorts 3 in 1's and fast foods, rather than some manuals and SOP's!!!

Q,I really pity you-have to fly with this kinda of FOs-worse still now with your pay increase, you will be flying with a very very very demotivated guy on your RH seat!!!

FOOOO's-vote with your foot mate, next door is wide open!

Hey guys. What do you all think about AirAsia maintenance standard. Met with some of the Captains recently. They are expecting that inccident/accident that were shown in National geogarphic every tuesday nite (Air Crash Investigations) might happen one of these days. Is that true? One of them even are photocopying techlog so that they can bring it to DCA or court if anything happen.

Wow, if thats how scared these senior Captains are (they do not recommend their love ones to fly with AirAsia) someone should do something and tell Mr F, 'do somethin'. I have many friends in there, ok!

One silly thing they did is get a bunch of Indo pilots, trained them, and then forgot to sign their contracts... they all left for sister company AWAir now... and photocopying the MX logs? Well, even the AWAir pilots are beginning to do it... HYD fails reported to be getting more common... But then again, what do I know, I'm not in AWAir or AK

Air Asia's AWAir plans for 8 733s in Indo before end of 2005 is now frozen at 5, and they seem to be struggling to get the 3rd/4th one flying here...
