Vietnam ATR 72

Hi Guys and Gals

Looking for some information on the ATR operation in Vietnam.

Is it nesseccary to go through an agency or will the airline employ direct.

What is the route structure like?

Are the maintenance standards good?

Are the pilots mostly local or foreigners?

Do they hire F/O's? (expats).

Is it a good operation? There has been some adverse comment elsewhere about the jet operation.

Any information appreciated.

OK my friend they only hire Captains on this contract
VN do not hire directly. They use Ristworth from New Zealand
I use to work there on B767 and I have many friends on ATR 72
You need to be current on 72 not 42
The condition are not bad you work 6 weeks ON and 2 weeks OFF. Salary for captains around 7000 US all include No Tax
Maintenance so an so because local are doing it and they can nort read an MEL so if your the Captain you refuse the flight if it is not airworthy

Good luck and d ont expect an upgrade on A 320 or anything else
