Question about Indian licensing

Wasn't sure where to post, seems this is the closest, if not, the moderater is Welcome to move this post. Thanks!

I am considering converting American and Canadian Flying licenses to Indian, BUT haven't flown in the last 7 years.
I believe there is a rule that states that to be issued an Indian CPL you need to have at least 250 hours total in the last 5 years???
Is this true?? Any help regarding this is appreciated.
you can return pm me

Thanks in Advance
