Phuket Air question

Do any Far Eastern PPRuNer's have any experience or knowledge of Phuket Air?

They have an astonishingly good interline deal at present to launch their new Gatwick / Bangkok service.

Any comments?

Thanks in advance.

The one which caught my eye was their interline fare of £138 LGW - BKK - LGW, firm seat !

Believe the DXB-CGP fare includes 3 nights in Phuket.

Imagine all those migrant workers offloading a years worth of savings before returning home to they loved ones

Now that is good marketing

Yup 138 sterling or 19000 baht. But with 9% to agents utilising an old 747 classic. Me thinks that the margins must be wafer thin even with a good load. Time will tell in the low season but there's an awful lot of competition on the UK - Bangkok route already with a good product. This won't last!

Sanook,

What won't last - the airline or the fare?

Any idea who is behind Phuket Air? Are they reasonably secure?

Thanks
