I couldnt help noticing some of the 747/200's painted up as "One to Go" the other day along with the 757's up there. By the way who is "Thai jet" any one? I noticed 1x 757 as well at BKK.
Regards. perhaps Wilson knows?

Orient Thai is alive and well. They're operating 2 daily international flights between Bangkok and Phuket to Hong Kong. They also operates domestic low-cost operations under the name "One-Two-Go by Orient Thai" between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Haad Yai, and Phuket with a total of 9 daily domestic roundtrip flights.
They currently operate 10 aircrafts: 8 x B747 and 2 x B757.

The current news is that OTA has resumed their daily BKK-ICN flights. It also plans to open new routes to KUL and SIN in June, to PVG, PEK, CAN, and TPE in July. All the current 747's and 757 will be reassigned to operate mainly international routes. OTA plans to lease 8 737's (series not known) to be used for low-cost domestic operations which OTA currently operates to 4 destinations with 3 more destinations to be added by year end. Looks like they'll be hiring 737 pilots soon if the plan goes well.

Anyone have some info on the 757s. What age are they, what engines they use, how old are they, where did they come from ?? last operator, etc., thanks. I heard there has been a group of 12 or so 757s sitting in the desert for over a year. cheers.
