The key here is PATIENCE........ if you dont want to wait, then to something else. Go to college or Uni. Get a degree or watever. If NOT, then u gotta follow the routine of EAT AND SLEEP till the call. but try to get a part time job first. Cheers.

Donald,
I have and am in the same boat as you. I applied to the MAS CAdet scheme in Feb 2003 ..... did not get any news until I called in May 2003.
I got to do psychomotor and psychometric tests in June 2003 (yes flew the whole 6500 odd miles for two days of testing .... worth every min.). Now its been 8 months and still no news from them!!! Its frustrating, even more when you're on the age limit of 26.
Good luck to you mate ..... just give them a nudge once in a while.

Don't Waste Your Time
Hi Guys,
If you are looking for something called "REPLY" or "FEEDBACK" or "ANSWER" from MAS, you are actually wasting your time !!!! Sad to say that MAS will not and will never give you any reply unless you are somehow "related" (read as cronysm) with anyone who is holding a reputable position in the company or government. Don't you know that MAS is equipped with "FIRST WORLD" equipment but managed by "THIRD WORLD" mentality managers??
Cheers ....

alot of hu ha's....
hmmm.....
donaldstan,
the psychomotor thingy is something to do with testing of your hand, eye, brain watever co-ordination.... im not sure if they've repaired the machine or not, and if not they might use the full flight simulator. the psychomotor machine thingy is like a game it self with a joystick. and ur suppose to guide some sort of a thing through a maze or corridor or something like tat. it shouldnt be too difficult if you play games alot
virtual reality,
its understandable that these things happen, not only in MAS but also in almost every other international airlines in the world today (mark me if iam wrong!). Even if you dont have any 'relatives' in MAS you still can get in. If you're persistant enough and know how to push your way through, there is no problems in getting in. by the way, you sound like either you didnt make it or was not called or something like tat.
-p.s.- by the way, tat 1st world 3rd world phrase cam pernah jumpa je? dalam Middle East forum. hehe...
CHEERS ALL.......
I FLY RIVER...... others use FMC

Wow congrats Donald.....so happy for you mate.
I think they may have fixed the psychomotor machine thing (one of the guys on the second stage reckons he broke it).
Its quite basic for any gamer. A few laps of wipeout on the PS2 wil calm you down. Except the feet part will a be a bit more different.
Went down to London yesterday they had one of these new arcade Flight Simulation GAmes....awesome....nearly bakrupted playing the darn game!!!!!!!
Well....good luck mate

games
just bought Flight Simulator. first time playing, don't seem to know. crashed the plane all the time, cant control. haha....
the worst thing is, my speakers suddenly cant work so i cant go thru the flying lessons in the game. sad...
but i found a severe problem...i felt a bit giddy and nausea when playing the game esp when the plane starts turning from left to right then back to left (lost control ). is that alright?
