Jet Airways | Careers I am starting this thread to focus on the 2014 exam Let the threads for 2011 and 2013 exams continue as 2011 is still waiting for joining and 2013 is still waiting for medicals . So lets give them their space A few points - Jet Airways will accept RTR P and RTR C even though its not mentioned in the ad - Multi is not required nor is a valid IR required - Those who select Bangalore will most likely be assigned Chennai (this is what happened for the past 2 exams ) so keep that mind -Please enter your email carefully before clicking apply as they ask the email ID only once - After applying you DONT receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL . You will only see reference number and a yellow smiley face . Note it down somewhere as you wont see it again -In the past they used to accept applications from those whose Indian DGCA CPL is still in process . I dont see it being any different this time so dont hesitate to apply if you license is still pending in the DGCA . You must have applied for the license atleast -Please read the threads of 2011 and 2013 to get an idea what they ask in the written exams . Majority of your questions will be answered there 2011 Thread http://www.pprune.org/south-asia-far...t-officer.html 2013 Thread http://www.pprune.org/south-asia-far...er-2013-a.html Tentative exam date is September 14th ( A Sunday ) unless otherwise mentioned by Jet Airways officially All the best folks :ok: |

Big question on Marking of non verbals in jet exam.
Hi there, last time i appeared in jet written exam and found out confusing instruction about markings on nonverbal cubes section.
It said there might be more then one right options and negative marking of minus one for every wrong answer. If suppose there are four right option and i mark only three rights then will it be minus one to me. Please answer my doubt if you are absolutely sure. |
@ aiming_higher......you will get negative 1 mark irrespective of whether you answer 1 or 2 or 3 out of the 4 options correctly...............you need to tick all the options correctly (if all the options were meant to be the correct answers in this case) to score a perfect 1 mark....Else it's negative 1
|
You will get a mark for 'each' correct answer. So even if you mark one correct out of lets say 3 correct answers for a particular figure you will get the mark.
You don't have to mark all correct in a question just as many as you can. Just don't mark any answer you are not sure of. |
Confusion about markings
See this is what I was talking about. Two opposite statements.

Still waiting
I am still waiting for an authentic answer to my doubt. I am sure there are lot of expert people reading this thread knows the exact truth.
|
@captss
I would think people can expect to receive further emails from Jet after Aug 31st, since the application window stays open till then. So you can expect something, maybe first week of September. |
nobody to reply
I am still waiting for an authentic reply. I am surprised people are preparing for the exam but don't know the marking which is deciding factor.
|
If there are 3 right options and you mark 2 or 4 options then you will get -1.
You have to mark only the 3 correct answers to get 1 mark You can also have a question wherein all the 5 options are correct (if you mark 4 correct options you will get minus 1) If there are no right answers and if you mark anything then you will get - 1 again So you have to be very careful while attempting this paper |
Thank you RNP for clearing my doubt. I hope this is the right answer.
