Indian CPL conversion confusion
 

hello friends,
well i have a big confusion...I have 20 hours on multi seneca as PIC so the question is does DGCA wants just the hours which are mentioned in requirements to issue me a multi endorsement on indian cpl or i have to get multi-engine endorsed on my FAA CPL too.

I am confused friends and please shed some light on this. I have a single engine FAA CPL and instument rating and did 20 hrs Multi Seneca as per requirement of DGCA.

Friends please help me out.

At the time of applying for conversion of license you need to have the multi engine endorsement on your FAA CPL

how did u get pic hrs without the endorsement.
u can only log dual until u have the endorsement..
or is this that infamous PPL-PIC rule of FAA where both student n instructor are pic?

actually I have done 20 hours on piper seneca & no PIC

I met all the requirements mentioned above and it only says multi endorsement on cpl.

Some of my friends only got FAA single engine cpl and additionally did 15 hours on multi-engine with all the tests as prescribed by dgca and they got multi-engine endorsed on Indian CPL. I am only concerned because they got it converted before 2012 and would like to confirm if it still the same.

If I go by dgca flowchart, the requirement is still the same and only thing has added is flying test in India.

Yes. You need to have Multi-Engine endorsed on your FAA-CPL in order for ME privileges to be endorsed on DGCA-CPL.:ok:
