Typical of your breed. A comment was made that was not accurate, unintentionally I'm sure. I corrected the false information. Did that offend you so much?

So, OK. To appease you: the earth is flat, Hobits exist and those who do jobs for more than half the rate are respected. As you say, you desperately want guys like me and my opinion supported by FACTS to just go away. You only want information that satisfies your ignorant agenda. A balanced argument? Hell no! That could offend your head-in-the-sand attitude! If a different opinion based an hard facts offend you so much then maybe you should stop blaming those delivering it and have a hard look in the mirror.

So I "troll" these threads? Pot calling who black? Let's have a look at your activity: you're all over this forum seeking and palming out advice on cadetships from CX, QLink, Jetstar, Susi Air, Indonesia, V Oz.... Just hell bent on being a cadet anywhere, anyhow.

pilotchute 10th Sep 2012 07:04

Whatever you say.

I thought that I offered constructive comment most of the time unlike you who seems to want to make everyone unhappy. I have a lot of friends in aviation and have had a few different jobs.

I was offered a job by Susi and knocked it back. You know why? Because I didn't think it was worth it! I don't on the other hand tell other people not to do it.
I had an interview with Qlink and wasn't offered a spot.
I think the Jetstar program isn't worth it but don't slag off people for doing it.
I have close friends working in VA operations and get some good inside info.

So having experienced a few different things makes me desperate? I have answered a lot of peoples questions about Qlink and Susi via pm and all seemed grateful for the help.

What have you done to help anyone lately?

ChinaBeached 10th Sep 2012 08:10

I too have been offered 3 other widebody positions and turned them down between the CX offer and present day. It wasn't worth it for a range of reasons. However those positions did not contribute to the downward spiral of terms and conditions of that particular airline or the industry. I don't tell others not to apply. If it was detrimental to that airline, the industry and colleagues then yes I would speak out against it.

What have I done you ask? I argue with facts. You don't. Then guys like you come along and tell me to shut up because you decide to play the man and not the ball. I'm not going to get into a slanging match with you. Been there, done it and it's boring at best - comical and humorous at times - but over it and it's just too easy to shoot holes in the arguments for the iCadetship. So let's not start.....

My in/outbox is also almost full of PM's received and sent of guys asking for advice, background to my opinion or help or direction on other options. It's always a pleasure to help out guys who ask and are open minded as I would hope you would also agree.

You don't like my message, my opinion or the facts I use to support them - that's your right, as I said. Your argument is "Shut up. I don't want to hear that there could possibly be anything bad about my decision!!" But it reeks of someone deliberately & decidingly ignorant to a different point of view supported by 1st hand experience and facts.

Stick to the name

This thread is for interview tips only. How about we leave it to people who want to use it for that.

Transition Stage 2 Sim: Would highly appreciate any information or tips for the 747 sim, any previous or past candidates who could share their experience would be priceless - many thanks In advance.

AND

Who the hell let CB in here, seriously bro, your piont of view is WELL & TRULY noted BUT no longer required.... SO Good day Sir...

ChinaBeached 11th Sep 2012 10:24

I had left it alone you ignorant brat. Then you cheap shot from behind. You ask for information but only want one side of the story. pilotchute correctly asked we stick to the thread topic: interview tips only, and I was content at that. Someone asked if there was an engine failure for the DESO sim, and there was. I gave 95% of the profile for you. It was the last comment which was not appreciated, obviously. Raw nerves....?? Mental pigmies like you choose to keep a war going when I was content to leave it alone.

You've been asking for stage 2 tips since Nov '11 for some supposed stage 2 interview in Jan '12. Still confused? More deluded but it's got to be expected when you're just so goddam childish.

Leave it alone kid and I will. Here's some more information that you say you ask for but don;t want to listen to. You'll blame me for passing this on, I'm sure.....

Interview locations

Hi everyone,

As so many of you received call for interview, where did you select as your first preferred interview location?

Thank you

tomau1215 26th Nov 2013 08:03

Hi, this is Tom.

Does anyone have the CX CPP stage 2 interview on 15th of January? Please pm me or leave a message here. I will contact you as soon as possible and we may gather before the interview.

Thanks and good luck.

Isaac Yu 29th Nov 2013 12:12

wait I see most of the questions are invovlving transition and advanced coursed which cx actually does not have anymore according to website. For the one for people with no flying experience are we still required that much ATPL questions as in previous posts

Interview tips and preparatory methods

Hi guys
So basically I would like to ask how does the whole process for candidate with no flying experience goes.
Like what comes before the initial interview and what kind of physics formulas should I remember as well as how to prepare for the maths test.
Lastly I'm quite worried for the technical part how difficult will it be any tips how to prepare for it
Thanks a lot guys

Just to recast the net on this one, as it were, has anyone experienced any new/curveball questions in 2015 that they'd like to comment on?

Or is it still the same general stuff from the other threads?

Thanks

Transition Training

Hi all,

I suspect I possibly posted this on the wrong thread earlier, did not notice this one. If anyone has any info on the below would be great

Regarding the Transition Training interview, I am informed that the process involves;

Day 1
- Group Exercise
- Technical Quiz (multiple choice)
- Simulator Assessment (Boeing 747-400)
- Personality profile (computer based)

Day 2
- Interview (HR & Technical)
- English Assessment
- Medical Assessment

Was just wondering if anyone has been through this process recently?
Was anything else done on the day? No mention of Maths Test, Compass Test, Ravens Test etc.....

Technical Quiz, any advice for this?

And regarding the Transition training in Australia, I understand it is 5-6 weeks, can anyone shed light on
- The training program
- What are the 'reduced' exams that need to be done?

Would really appreciate any reply or PM if anyone can be of assistance
