hey guys i saw an advertisement in newspaper about spice jet wanting freshers please share the info if someone knows when will they conduct exams....thanks....

I have been told they have exam every week n one batch of fresh CPL has started last fortnight or so... but there are no exams comin soon..

@flaskback: thank you for sharing this info, but how can you be so sure that they wont be conducting any exam soon.Since they have come out in the open with this ad, im sure they will conduct an exam.

They are conducting a written exam this Friday for non rated CPL holders

And you have to pay 20,000 rupees for the exam :ok::ok:

how to apply for the Friday's exam and whom to pay??

I too emailed my resume but no reply yet (Its been like 2 hrs).. and they have to have an exam for this ad soon but it cant be on friday(I'm not saying there isnt any exam-i dont know anything about it)...but it should be sometime in a couple of weeks

Exam is on 4th March, and it is for 737.
Go only if prepared well enough. Heard a rumour that sj rejected all of the type rated candidates after the exam recently.... could be a money making stint by sj too. careful guys!!!

apart from that, where is the exam being held? any centre in Mumbai?

For the controversy involving rejection of all type rated pilots who appeared on Monday I have been told that the cut off is 70% n none of them scored that...though not sure if this is true cos they did select 14 candidates to appear for the interview n then told them that none of them even passed the written exam!:ugh:

It has been around 4 hours since I sent my app to [email protected] and have not gotten the failure message as of yet. As suggested you could try sending from a different id/service?

Got this from a friend who works in spice jet, he said they already made over 1 crode from the applicants. If you are selected then you are likely to pay for the type ratings. Will be around 10 to 12 laks..

I too applied for it but still waiting for the reply but 2 of my friends in Chennai got the reply. They were asked to pay 20 000 for the exams and the exams will be conducted in Chennai. Also heard people from Kerala got the Emails. Maybe they are calling the people in the south first. In south India itself nearly 1000 people applied for the position. Dont think its going to be easy:ugh:

is dat for the q400 TR ???

@flight517 I am not really sure, my friend only told me. But he was sure its over 10 lac. So I belive for a dash 8-400 rating you need to shed out 10 lacks

You need to pay 10 lakh before type rating and 10 will be deducted via salary.

is the exam you are talking about tomorrow??because i have heard there is an exam in delhi tomorrow and only a selected few have been called for it. Is the same exam happening in chennai too??

Around 335 on the list came today. And whoever is going around saying the ad is fake needs to stop. And waspmaker - you need to check yourself in with a doctor for EEG tests. Nothing like 737 came today
