Are you type rated on the B737? Or was this spicejet exam conducted for freshers? They sent call letters out on random basis or only people with reference? Thanks a lot for typing down the questions, very helpful of you.

dude I am not type rated, infact this induction was for CPL holders only. Maximum call letters were for people with reference,even if they knew some commander or some1 in HR got the call. So it wsnt like u needed to have a very big 'Jugaad'. Some guys who personally went to their office in Gurgaon to drop in their resume also got the call.

does anyone knows payrates and conditions? I've got 1500hrs on Q and 3500 aprox. so I was wondering if I should apply

@PiTrouble: Tell me something buddy. Before hiring a pilot does an airline check whether the pilot's marksheets were forged or do they only check if the requisite licenses are valid and issued by the concerned authority? Holding CPL/ATPL exams & issuing licenses is the responsibility of the DGCA and not of the airlines.

My post was meant to encourage aspirants to study hard and give the CAE exam a fair chance instead of getting demoralized by reading posts claiming that the exam was a scam!

guy's is Spicejet Charging 40K's for their IPT test's apart from 20k's which we have to pay for the entrance.....??

They are charging for written and sim seprately, however your numbers are not correct its 20 for written and 50 k for sim...:ugh:

Out of the 310 students who took the spice written exam on 4 march, did anyone get a mail for the next step?

result for the written exam is expected next week...we shall know of the next step following the written only after that

who cares for the money right now...thank god that atleast there is a vaccancy for pilots in the industry...:hmm::hmm:

yea you are right, but spice is really cheaping the T & C for pilots...
I hope they get back to the industry standards soon...

To all those of you whose mails are returning from spicejet, they accept CV's only in .doc or .docx format no pdfs etc..
I put in my CV too about 10 days back, no reply yet..

Guys, any idea when is the result for the exam coming out?

Spice jet has started calling people....and this calling prosedure will continue whole of this week....they can even call you as late as 9 pm.So always keep your mobile .....all the best guys
