Just so that you guys know. Dragonair will not inform you if you failed. They will only message those who moved on so if people in your batch have recieved emails and you haven't within a week or so, it is safe to assume you have been booted. Another way you can check is try logging into your dragon air application and see what the message says.

Yup. Had my AT on 22 Feb, and still haven't got any email notifications... So I guess my chances are slim

I failed CX flight grading in 2015. Recently, got some extra flying hours on log book for improvement.
Anyone can advice me should I take PPL before i apply KA? Or apply with my current experience? Thx |

i wonder if yours is different? |
Hey Ken, mine is the same. If you get rejected it will change to something that says you can't reapply within 12 months.

each game i made less than 2 errors (can't say for the pattern test). I think they value your progression more than your performance.

I did my AT on 4th Jan. They said that only the successful candidates will be noticed within 4 weeks. However I received an email on 7th Mar (More than 8 weeks after AT), saying I am included in the Initial Interview and will be contacted again for the date as the schedule has not been finalized. Just wait...:ugh:

Less than 2 misses in 3 in 1 task? That is pretty good, maybe you should send them an email and ask about it
I'll wait a bit longer (as suggested by JJJv) and if there's still no news then I'll contact them Thanks;) |

In my case, the staff told me to wait 2 months. I guess I'll wait a bit longer and then contact them (hope they'll provide some answers):ok: |
Hello everyone!!Congraz for getting to the initial interview!! Does anyone know that is it usual for the aptitude test and initial interview to be held after such a long period (e.g. 2 months)? I heard that in the past people would have their aptitude test a week after initial test and hr interview 2 weeks after that.

Anyone can advice me should I take PPL before i apply KA? Or apply with my current experience? Thx there has been cases with people failing grading with CX/KA and applied for KA, 3 cases i know are: 1) got his own PPL after failing CX and passed KA grading 2) got his own PPL after failing CX and failed KA grading failed 3) not sure if he did more flying after failing KA and passed KA CTC (without grading) doing more flying before applying again will show that you don't give up easily and that you're still interested in flying even if you don't get the job, but PPL is expensive and not everyone can afford flying lessons. so it's really up to you how much time and money are you willing to spend to achieve this dream of yours |

Thanks mleung! Lets do it!
I got an email reply saying that I'm still in game but they don't know when the next interview will be... For those wondering their application status, first check the website if it says "being processed" ( & u haven't received any contact from them) u might want to send an email and ask about it. :} |
