Thanks very much for your info. May I confirm Skytest is still suitable after the change from COMPASS from Cut-E?

[QUOTE=mmb327;9796891]Will anyone be willing and caring to shed light on the multiple choice questionnaire from the FAA book for cadets? Did people find it harder as they give you alot more to learn as compared to the old booklet they supplied?

From my friend's experience last year, the questionnaire is like CPL standard.

There is one more part called situational behaviour

Thank you for that! I also found something that is really useful:

I subscribed to latestpilotjobs and flightdeckinterviews and found the second one is better

Thanks so much again!

Would you mind sharing what the MC test is about?(eg. difficulty level / types of question)
Many thanks!

Hi guys,

I failed the final computer based test last year. Anyone know which stage I will start again if I apply now (assuming they accept reapplication)? I am not sure how this goes with the new 1A selection in place.

Thanks

It is a kind of difficulty level close to CPL standard.
The scope is just limited to the few topics stated in their email

I don't think the have made it easier per say... maybe just made it different imo!

Reading the whole book is crazy. I didn't even do that till my commercial checkride.

Have a look at the attachment

Hey Varundatta, I have a PPL and have started to study from the PHAK. Did you find that the book has prepared you well for 1A? Also, I've read that they expect you to know since you are licensed, having completed a CPL and finishing the PHAK, do you think the book gives enough knowledge above PPL level?

Hi all im new here. for those who have already done initial 1A. just wanna ask did you guys need to use a joystick and rudder pedal to do the test?

If you treat the PHAK like a aviation bible it will give you all the info you need for PPL and CPL. and if you already have a PPL it will help you refresh your memory anyway.

No stick or rudder. Those went away when the compass went.

I understand that a PPL won't be a bonus, but it won't be a barrier either since at the end of the day, everyone is trained from the beginning.

In terms of having a more realistic expectation/study plan, do you know how in depth the technical interview will go in terms of if they see that you are licensed, will they be asking CPL/ATPL questions?

I spoke with a couple of applicants and they did mention that they expect you to know your PPL material and your aircraft well, just not sure about their expectations of anything beyond that.

Hello. Nice to meet you all. This is my first time posting here.
May I once confirm is the "60 min technical test" included in the initial 1A selection with cut-e aptitude?
