DGCA CPL Renewal

Hi

How does one go about renewing the CPL.
1) Is it possible to renew just the CPL licence if the IR is already valid.
2) If IR has also lapsed, is it compulsory to renew the IR also? In that case can IR be renewed on a smaller category of ACFT that is rated in the licence.
Say the licence holder is rated on A320, with the A320 still valid(say 2 years old) but IR lapsed at the time of expiry of CPL licence, can IR be done on Cessna 152?
3) How to renew FRTOL?
4) What is the processing time for the renewal.
5) Is Eng Language proficiency automatically renewed with the CPL?

Thank you.

Its not compulsory to renew the IR in order to the renew the CPL

The renewal skill tests of day and night can be done on any aircraft endorsed on the license

The only requirement for renewal of FRTOL is a valid RT and valid class 1 medical
You can renew this along with the CPL
But at the time of giving the skill tests both RT and FRTOL should be valid

ELP is not automatically renewed . You have to take the test again . If its expired take the test again , endorse it again on the CPL and only then do the skill tests ( otherwise DGCA will raise an objection saying renewal done without valid ELP )

Normally takes 2 weeks to renew the licenses at the DGCA Regional office

Hi

Just noticed a very similar post had been posted in South Asia forum.
Request the admins to please merge the two posts.

Thanks

So that begs the question....what is involved in renewing the FRTOL, because more often than not, CPL and FRTOL are issued together and they expire about the same time.

PS: Does EPL actually have a validity? Or does the validity period depend on the score you have on the EPL?

Thanks.

Dgca cpl renewal

Hello everyone!

I had a query regarding renewal of my indian cpl.

I hope someone here helps me out.

I hold a indian CPL. which has expired in 2015 june.
I did my CPL training on 152 and 172 from USA.
Then did multiengine training on PA34r. From USA.
Then came to india and converted to indian Cpl.
I endorsed PA34r on my indian licence. Not 172.(But i Flew almost 100hrs on c172 in 2010)

Now i wish to renew/endorse my licence on C172.
So is it possible by doing the endorsement training on C172?
As my licence is expired!
Please share your views.
Thank you.
