Do you know the attrition rate for Ab inito cadets in the industry?

Safe to say half will get chopped, the least at type rating, followed by ATPL theory, flying phase has the highest attrition rate, especially during the first 45 hours of flight training, after that you pretty much only get chopped due to an incident or in most scenarios, "integrity issues".

Don't know what they were looking for. Interview was quick and no technical ques were asked.

More of a liking contest than sieving out passionate and interested candidates.

but this is a self sponsored course.. The course is paid for in installments.. Im sure they'd want everyone to pass, or at least give them more than a try if they do fail in some papers/tests etc..

TBH i am not sure what they are looking for, but I'm sure your confidence and how you deliver your answers to their questions play a part.
