Going by the past exams there around 4 -5 papers for the exam

1 Paper is all CPL subjects except tech general

2 Technical General which includes ,
-Principles of flight
-Airframes and aircraft systems
-Powerplant
-Electricity

Study material is the usual oxford atpl , gsp, keith williams , mike burton for tech etc

Complete Syllabus

Papers 3 , 4 and 5 consist of mental aptitude test and I believe an english test as well

You can practise the aptitude tests on this website for free
Aptitude Questions and Answers - IndiaBIX

Read the question paper carefully . Wrong questions might be negatively marked depending on the paper

What about MET, NAV, IR?
Nothing will be asked from there.

Jet Airways CPL exam 2013 Study material

@cyrilroy21

hey, would you mind mentioning which oxford atpl books to study specifically for the Jet Airways exam?
& i don't have Keith Williams' books, would it be ok if I don't study that or it's very important for the Jet exam?
Thanks!

@genie081

For the CPL portion of the exam

1. General Nav
2. Radio Aids or Radio Navigation
3. Instrumentation
4. Performance
5. Mass and Balance

For the Technical Portion of the exam

1. Principles of Flight
2. Airframes and systems
3. Powerplant ( especially turbine engines )
4. Electrics and Electronics

For MET i recommend getting IC Joshi and for REGS any of the books by RK Bali or V Krishnan will do

The Keith Williams books are mainly questions and answers . The more questions you solve the better you become on the subject . Even oxford does not explain how to solve the questions given on the back

While I strongly recommend the Keith Williams books not only for Jet but also for future airline and DGCA ATPL exams

You can practice some questions on this website from the above mentioned topics for free
Choose JAA ATPL
Aviation Training

Disclaimer : I cant garuntee that any of these books or the methods I have mentioned above will help you clear the Jet exam as I have no idea where jet sources its questions or what books they use as reference .
Different people use different books . The oxford ATPL books pretty much cover everything out there given in the DGCA CPL and ATPL syllabus . Same goes for Keith Williams
The only thing missing is Indian Climatology and Indian Air Regs for which I have recommended the above books
All these books are recommendations I have gathered from various sources over a period of time and from past exams
I cannot be held responsible if whats in these books are different than what comes for the Jet Airways exam . So following these recommendations will be at your own risk

@ CyrilRoy
Thank you very much.
@All
Does any one know what to expect in the mental ability test? Last time people got non-verbal reasoning for Jet Exams. Indiabix.com is quite helpful in this regard. But is that it?? Will they ask non-verbal, logical reasoning etc? Any possibility of Jet changing exam pattern this time?
I have no idea how to prepare for the aptitude test but I guess aptitude test will play a major role in the results.
