Dragonair,
Do you know why did the MPL program requires people with less then 10hrs of flight time? I have more then that, so does that mean for sure I will not be selected even if I apply.

I totally agree with what Dragonair says.
I think this is a very big decision (DA15 vs MPL) and it's a decision that should be made after you have thought it though.
If you keep changing your mind, then you might have failed one of the most important attributes as a pilot - decisiveness.

So I got an email telling me to choose between DA 15 or MPL, and I replied MPL in the middle of May....
Now, I'm kind of getting scared because they haven't replied me yet....
since I live in Vancouver and have a part-time job and I'm doing summer school (ends June 17)....what if they email me like tomorrow and be like initial test is on like during school or like I don't have enough time to hand in my two weeks to quit my part-time to go back to Hong Kong..... and then summer is coming and what if I can't get my hands on a flight ticket back .....

I didn't feel like posting this in the public forum. Could you tell me what sort of questions did you face on the Math Test? Hopefully you can give me some specifics. I've been trying to prep myself for the test on 22nd but the numeracy tests on the internet varies a lot from website to website.
Again thanks and good luck!

correct, no break, but well for your 1st test, English grammar test, you could well finish the test with plenty of time left on the clock just to snatch a break (in the washroom) if that helps lol, but you definitely won't have any break time from listening onward.

I'll be honest, there isn't much you can prepare for the maths test. Number of things you should bear in mind:
1) You will not be able to finish it, so be as accurate as possible with those you'll be doing.
2) There will be questions that require significantly more time for calculations, so if you think it takes too much time, skip it to other questions.
3) They are just simple "+-x/" calculations, you can practise some primary school maths questions (as they actually are primary level questions, but requiring a lot of calculations to generate an answer)

i guess interview? since they don't give you a call for notification but only e-mails if you're asked to attend initial test. Only phone calls after the initial test i guess.
well good luck to your interview, i'm still hopelessly waiting for my call for initial interview
