Things to do for interview

Ace technical pilot interview book (be very very thorough with it)
Jepps glossary ( jepp approach charts) make sure u know every single thing on the chart from any number to any dot to any line.

Prepare for basic HR questions

apart from the questions in the video....prepare for other questions as well like why did u become a pilot, what were doing all this while, why jet airways....

and read about jet airways , about its fleet , chair man, whats latest ...and other related things..!!!

The interview will be for 20-25 mins .... 3-5 people in the room ( Captains and from HR department)

You're not asked to show your CPL or anything else during the Interview. In the Interview letter they must have requested you to bring along only the interview letter and a photo id proof.

In case they do ask you for the CPL, you can explain them your situation and tell them that you'll be getting it renewed as soon as you can!

Reverb, PKBOEING,

I know people who have interview dates as early as 19 march and latest by April 4th.

Do you know some body who has interviews falling outside this bracket.

If that is the case, I wonder how many people are up for interview!!!

Any idea how many people are called in a single day??

Thanks.

Sounds like if you pass the interview you will be called for the IPT immediately

That could also be the reason why the interviews are spread out very far

I suggest everyone to be prepared to attend the IPT as well

PK Boeing, Reverb,

Anticipation is the last thing we should do. Whatever, I anticipate is proven incorrect by someone.

Instead, lets focus on our interview only. How are you guys preparing. I am studying Jeppesen Instrument commercial and Ace the tech pilot.

Plus, visiting some websites for tutorials.

If you have a few friends, who are about to join Jet, please take some info from them on how to prepare for this round.

Thanks

Cyril, I agree with you. During my GD, I asked the lady HR about this.

She told me that this time they would be calling for 3 days. Day 1 would be interview. If successful, day 2 will be IPT.

3rd day is kept as a buffer. Medical date would be advised in due course.

as the GDs will start in Feb for the older batches, the picture will be clear.

Ace the technical pilot is an excellent book for your interview, covers pretty much everything. You should know your jeppesen charts inside out as they love to grill you on this.
When i went for my interview they asked me a lot of basic aerodynamic questions like explain a stall, and whats a laminar airfoil etc.they can also ask you about Indian climatology so go through meteorology as well. Also study a bit of performance like TORA,ASDA etc.
The pilots who are sitting in the panel are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable so that you dont get nervous,
They can also ask you all about CRM questions so prepare for that as well!

All the best!!
