Airbus 330,

You are having the group exercise and second interview on the 20th? I received their call days ago and was originally scheduled for it on the same day. But now i changed it to 18th Sep. (for some personal issue, which i have to be out of hong kong for two weeks since late Sep.)

According to the phone conversation, if im sitting for the mentioned stage on 18th, the final stage would be on 20th Sep (ISO 25th or 26th Sep if sitting the second interview on 20th). Another piece of information i heard is that upon selection, the new batch will be sent to CTC New Zealand instead of FTA Adelaide. Did you hear the same?

Anyway, they are pushing quite hard, time is very limited and now i have to study my butt off between now and then...

Hey guys, I've just done my ICAO English test today. Does anyone know how long would it take for them to give you the result?

In addition, I was told that we will be doing something called CTC Assessment next (19/9). Was just wondering has anyone here done it before? If so, would you mind sharing your experience with us here?

any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

What made Dragonair decide to go to CTC in NZ in stead of staying with FTA in Adelaide?

lcha089,

My CTC will be on the 19th too.

As far as I know it's the first year KA is having CTC because they just started to train their cadet with CTC NZ.

awesome KRN. Ive just checked the previous posts, im quite surprised that there are only few of us here doing it on the 19th.

Hm..... i wonder why they would choose ctc rather than ctc. According to my own experience, weather in new zealand is generally not very good ><

Are there anyone here doing it on the 19th? Perhaps we can meet up and know each other better? ^^

And Just in case anyone is interested to know, the ctc assessment involves a group exercise and a so-called general interview without tech.

Add oil and good luck guys

Good luck with your application, and hopefully we can work in the same cockpit one day ^^

Hi Superwills,

sometimes it takes up to 3-4 weeks for them to give you a reply. Perhaps you can wait for another week, then ask them through e-mail if they still haven't contact you then.

Oh no I haven' done the CTC assessment yet. My last round was the aptitude test on 27th August and I still haven't received any call from KA yet. I am wondering if my chance had gone...

By the way, would you mind to share when had you done your aptitude test yet?

Good luck anyway!!

Hi Superwills

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I misunderstand your previous posts.

I did my aptitude test back in JUL 27th (in Melbourne). And I was told If I don't have any reply/contact from KA within a month, than it means I failed.

Then 3 weeks later, Ive got the invitation for the next stage from KA.

Since you've done your test late AUG... perhaps they might contact you next week. ^^

What I did during that 3 weeks of waiting is that I just pretend I passed and continue prepare for the next stage. So don't give up, and good luck to your soon to come interview ^^
