hey how do you guys know it takes 8 weeks for them to reply?

after i submitted my application all they sent back to me was...

"Your application will be considered along with all other eligible applicants in your geographic area when we next select for interviews.
Thank you for your interest in the Cadet Pilot Programme."

did you guys get something different?

i stated singapore as my 1st prefered destination and hong kong for 2nd.

I actually submitted my application about a week ago. I wonder if I'm too late... but they didn't say anothing about closing the application. So I'm confused. Oh btw, I'm applying from Canada.. 2nd choice HK as well.

Don't worry, there is no deadline for your application. Currently, as it stands, they are accepting applications year-round.

Thanks flaps! I'm a little worried because it seems everyone else gets an auto reply email back right away saying that they will be contacted in 8 weeks. But the application auto reply that I recieved seems like I passed the deadline and they will contact me next time around.

When does the Asian region(except Hong Kong) 1st interview begin??....

I think CX is processing interviews in London, Vancouver and Adelaide..
When do you guys think the Asian region will begin?..

U guys just need to keep your heads up.. It just seems that they have just changed the way they automatically reply to applications from "8 weeks" to "the next geographical location."

I don't think your application expires or there is any closing date for applications. There are probably so many application they are just taking it at a pace they can handle. We just need to be patient and don't lose hope.
