Cathay Pacific HR contact
I have sent my application to Cathay Pacific 1-2 months ago but have not heard back from them. I would like to follow up on my application but can't find their HR email address in their website. Anyone has their HR contact detail?
Thanks very much

It took me a full year to hear anything, many people wait much longer assuming they meet the realistic minimums. Most don't receive any reply at all, despite exceeding the posted requirements.
The recruitment e-mail is the same one you receive confirmation from when you submit an online application through the CX website:
[email protected]

Just what are the realistic minimums?
...cos despite meeting the published mins I seem to fit squarely in the second group...

Im my experience, realistic for DESO is 3000+ hrs total, with a good amount of 2 crew, multi-turbine or jet experience.
Some people get interviews between 2000-2500 but usually have been flying heavier types for the most part of their experience.
In my group there were guys with experience on 737, Saab 340, A300, CRJ, Dash 8, B1900, biz jets, etc., so obviously having high total flight time doesn't mean much without the operational experience to go with it.

So you're saying that even people with 3000 TT are applying to become second officers? Why wouldn't they apply for First Officer positions? I just want to make sure I was reading that correctly... Thanks!
