I'm interested to join as ab-initio DEFO. What's the norm for TT to be considered competitive?
Also, how much salary is expected for ab-initio DEFO. current ab-initio DEFO please elaborate. Advice is much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks Captain Vertigo but I'm conviced that they will just tell us. Since when any airline publish salary figures? Especially, in the competetive nature of recruiting in Hong Kong. That is the reason we come to PPRUNE (rumour)!

AHK Sounds good to me!
Now I have a few questions about AHK.
Does AHK allow me to commute from KIX Japan?
Is the figures as to the salary mentioned above after tax or before tax?
And Is the salary paid to banks in HongKong? Which means we have to pay
the tax imposed by HongKong?

No ab initio FOs anymore (removed from website at least). Pilot G who started this thread was a RJ FO and made it to an interview...I am a RJ FO and did not get an interview (informed recently). I had applied for both ab initio and DEFO...but I think my rejection email was for DEFO since they do not appear to have an ab initio programme any longer
