what are my chances?

hi all,
I'm thinking of joining one of the set up in hongkong.Hoping to join cx.TT 1700, type rated in 744 with 1400 on it.used to fly pax and freighter with a reputable airline.stopped work for a year due to family issues at home country.what do you think?Any airlines would take me in.i just want to fly.couldn't wait to get back into action.By the way, i'm single, so no problem with flying long hours and away most of the time.

The rate people are leaving KA & less so CX and HK air all probably will, but you may also want to leave after you've joined, there's a FedEx operation possibly starting up apparently. I suppose it might be wise to think short term, as career airlines in HK seem to be going the way of the dodo.

thanks SMOC,since i've stopped flying for almost a year, i need to catch up with time to avoid my frozen atpl being cancelled.So i guess SO in cx is out of the question.i wonder how the cadet in cx unfreeze their frozen atpl spending 3 years as a cruise pilot?Does the cruising hours count?
Which airlines in HK offer the best command prospect and which offer best money?appreciatte all the info i can get guys.. thanks.

thanks SMOA, Could you rate the airlines in Hk in terms of best command prospect and best money... I've not been flying for almost a year and my frozen ATPL is at stake.Understand P2 time only count for the first 750 hours.So if i don't get my hours fast i might need to take all the exams all over again.Does anyone know about extension of frozen ATPL?
It always puzzled me... does cx cadets get a frozen atpl after their training. Then how do they clock enough hours after spending 3 years as a cruise pilot? Does the cruising hours count?

i was a fo on B744 clocked 1000 as fo and 400 as so. Any chance for oasis? Thou published min requirements are 2000 tt.

Not to be mean or anything like that, but wich "reputable" airline can hire someone as F/O on 744 with TT of only 700 hrs ??? I must live in a very different world....
