G'day all,

I am interested in a DEFO positon based in Aus.

If anyone could help I am interested answers to:

Rough Gross salary as f/o and Capt in AUD
Super - Do they still pay the 15.5% into a hong kong fund or do you go on auzzie super fund ie/ 9% employer contributions
Typical routes flowm
Typical roster etc

Also I hear they might do direct entry f/o onto pax fleet? Are they on a bit of a higher wage?

What is the cue like to get an auzzie basing if go the s/o route. Ie/ from date of joining in HKG. 5, 10 years etc

Hi yigy2.

Yes they are hiring DEFO on the A330 to a SYD base.

DEFO Pay; Pax fleet roughly A$118, Freight fleet A$94 (emphasis on the roughly)
Provident fund; 15.5% of salary which you can either take in the pocket, put it into the CX scheme or do as the HKG locals do (the first option is taxed...I'm told the later is not popular).

Trying to find info on routes etc myself, believe its up to HKG then a couple of regional trips. When you get a CCQ onto the 340 no idea?!?!
