CX North American Basing
As a North American cargo pilot, how is your base determined? Is there a bidding system like with US airlines or another system that determines where you will be based?

Initially you choose from the available bases (ANC, JFK and LAX at the moment) and after joining it is by seniority. You do not have to have a "standing bid" like in the US. You have to make a request with the basing office after you check to the line.
