Cathay Pacific Cadet Pilot Interview Stage 2
I was given the Aviation Knowledge Book two weeks ago and I am having the whole-day assessment in few weeks. I wonder if you guys can give me some sample technical questions they will ask during both the technical test and the panel interview. THANKS a lot!
P.S. I could hardly sleep well everynite as I have been nervous yet excited about the coming stage! I appreciate your help!

from my powers of deduction (muhahahaha) i've so far counted 3.
theres been one earlier in the year of which some are going to be flight graded this week in FTA
theres the current batch which are about to do their stage 2
and then theres july which i'll be attending. i wouldn't be surprised if there was another one between now and july but so far the cathay recruitment staff have been very nice about it

because my commitment for university is only until june this academic year and HR were able to accomodate me for my interviews in july
plus ... i really do want to become a pilot (and i dont know what to do with my course) so if CX are willing to accept me onto the CPP then i'm more than willing to let go of the 2 years of university that i have under my belt and train to become a pilot.
i haven't even done stage 1 yet ... i'll be in HK on the 3rd of july for my tests, presentation etc etc =)

just one thing though davejp... at the risk of sounding rude, why are you applying for the program when youre still in college? i mean if you have two years left, y dont you finish those first? and i too thought you were already in stage 2 selection process...

jamp at the opportunity when i saw that CX were looking for potential CPP candidates.
the university degree that i'm doing at the moment is neither interesting me or motivating me, plus i haven't a clue what to do with it after i graduate.
so i figured, as i want to become a pilot so bad, if i can become a pilot 2 years earlier at the expense of a degree that i'm not particularly interested in then why not?

dave u better save wht u said as they ll surely ask u sth abt ur university studies during the interview lol anyway, having a degree is always better... cuz competition is already very keen between thousands of graduates!
