Which aircraft/Which Destinations?
Have had a search through the forums and googled it, with no luck... so is there anywhere I can find out which CX routes are serviced by which aircraft type?

As of now, the 777's fly to destinations in Asia and Middle East; the A330's fly to Australia, New Zealand and pretty much everywhere in Asia; the A340's fly long haul, to Europe, Australia, North America as well as some short haul in Asia; the B744's fly to both long and short.
Hope this helps!

Cathay Timetable
You can download the entire Cathay timetable from their website (http://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_...trip/timetable). It includes the aircraft type that normally services the route. It may change for varying reasons. Certainly enough to get the picture.
Not exactly the most exciting read however!

yeah the timetable would give you these in detail, but generally. from HKG:
777/330 are used for asia/oceanic routes
anything to europe are 747/343
anything to north america are 747/343. it doesn't say that in the timetable, but i believe 346 are used on JFK<->HKG direct
anything to the middle east are 777/330

A change of topic...
I have been told and also read that Cathay's new B777-300ER's are going to be used on the HKG - NY route.
Has anybody heard or know what is going to happen to the A340-600's?
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Tks
