SI ?

Heya, just browsing through Cathay's online application form and have come across the 'flying positions' section, which asks for a rank. In the drop down box, we have the usual Capt, FO, SO, FE, but also SI - this may be a really stupid question, but what is SI ?

Also, coming from me who meets min reqs but nowhere near competitive, what should i put single engine instructor stuff in? Feels odd to be saying 'Capt.'

Thanks guys

SI = Simulator Instructor

All instructing time is command time if you are the instructor so that is where it is logged, as Capt.
