CX rejection letter
Hi,
I received a rejection letter after my first SO interview. I will reapply again but what are the chances of ever getting a 2nd attempt? In the letter there was no invitation to reapply at a later date so I'm just wondering if it's even useful sending updates every few months?
Thanks

I will definitely reapply. The thing is I've heard that CX has two rejection letters that they send out. One with the possibility of reapplying and the other without that possibility. This was the second to last sentence in the letter: ''I'm sure that this will come as a dissapointment to you, but unfortunately it is a final decision''. Nowhere in the letter does it say to reapply later. But oh well. I'll reapply, try to improve my interview technique and see what happens.

Reapply. I have some friends that applied 6 times in 4 years and finally got hired.
Best of luck and dont let it get you down, its an experience.
BTW have you requested to know what went wrong or why you were refused?

GD,
I too received the same letter for a DEFO position. The above has answered my questions on reapplying, however I am interested in your comment regards requesting to find out the reasons why they did not look at me? is this something that I can request from the CX HR dept. from where the letter came?
Thanks for your assistance,
heavy

Sorry I messed that one up, 4 times in 6 years hehe, it was 2 in the morning when I typed that.
As for the reason of refusal Im not sure if Cathay allows it, certain airlines will give you feedback if you request it, and its a good idea to do so. It shows you care and that you really want to work for this company.
Not sure of the wait time to reapply but I think 1 year is for cadets, I could be wrong if I am someone correct me.
Thanks!
Cheers
