CX Cadet Training Schedule
Can anyone shed light on the training schedule of the cadet pilot programme? Is it five days a week and do you observe public holidays and such? My biggest concern is being able to take leave for important events such as a sibling's wedding or grave family illnesses.
Any replies will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Try asking the present cadet course (CP23 and CP24 i think) in Adelaide, they have an active forum over at www.cxcp23.com they seem to answer most questions.

same thing. thanks for the link. it's great to get direct personal insight into the training. i've posted my question in their forum but they're probably all too busy with their studies and training to respond.

am in the same school with the Cadets, though am not a cadet myself. What would you like to know? I will forward your questions to them, since I know most of them.

no, i am a self funded student. since we use the same a/c, same facilities, we tend to know each other.
training is conducted initially in Grob and then students move onto Tobago's till CPL and then onto Duchess for Twin Engine IR. A very well set up college this place is.
Library is next door and they hold enough books to keep you entertained. Atmosphere between instructors and students is very casual. Mind you, it is due to the airlines request that FTA has such stringent policy towards the minumum quality of training.
I hope this helps.
