Waiting time for Cathay Pacific interview

I would very much appreciate it if any forum member could give me an estimate on how long it nowadays takes after Cathay Pacific have acknowledged receipt of the application form and associated issue of the PRN number to be invited for the first interview as a DEFO. Furthermore, how long is the subsequent wait between the first and second interview?

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Waiting time for Cathay Pacific Interview

Hi Tornadoflyer,

Just back from my final interview (HK) as DFO Freighter (for Europe). I first applied in February 2005. So it took about 15 months for the whole process. I get the answer next week. Wish me luck! Good luck to you.

May 26. Made it! See you in HK. YEEEEHAAAAH!

Rsv,

I'm a USN guy, about to retire. These are some of the times & quals I showed on the app & resume I sent them:

FAA ATP
Total Flight Time: 5179
PIC (FAR Part 1): 2225
Total Jet: 1467
Instructor: 272
Types:
N265/CT-39G; SA227/C-26D; L188/P-3; BE200/TC-12B

T-39 & C-26 was exclusively in Europe; bulk of the P-3 time was WestPac & Persian Gulf; IP in the C-26 & C-12.

On Fight Info there are some regional RJ guys who have gotten called with lower, as well as some USN guys called w/ lower.

Good luck to luck to you,
265
