Final Interview Math Test
Hey, I have been looking for the post that have some examples of the math questions on the test for the final interview in Hong Kong.
Can anybody give me some examples that they remember and any suggestions on sources that would have suitable practice type questions.
Cheers,
Snowbirdbrad

The time restriction 30 minutes for 33 questions is the most challenging part of the test. You can skip questions and go back later. It's kind of similar to the GMAT math questions, some of them involved looking at graphs and charts and questions vary in difficulty. The questions are not related to aviation though. A good approach is to practice basic math skills (+ - / X) and be able to do it fast and accurately.
A similar question is city A is 3 hours behind city B and city C is 2 hours ahead of city B. If it is 12 noon in city C, what time is it in city A?
All the best

I would suggest doing the PATS course in Melbourne ( www.******************) . Virtually everyone hired by Jetstar and Qantas this year have done this course .
A few friends who were applying for CX did a one day individual course ,and the PATS instructors know pretty much every question that is on the Cathay maths test( more than 60% are failing this component - from friend who was told this by CX at his groundschool). My friends said they had seen every question before.
