How long do you guys wait before 2nd or 3rd attempts?

How long do you guys wait before your second and third attempts between Cadetship applications?

I have been told to best wait for at least a year so my 2nd attempt was after one year. I am now waiting to see if I should wait for another year before I attempt the third time or not.

I am especially interested how long Fish_and_Chips waited inbetween apllications.

I thought you 'had' to wait a year before re-applying. I stand to be corrected.

They told me that you can continue updating your application every 6 months but the minimum time is 12 months before they offer you a 2nd or 3rd interview.
