As far as US military interviewes, there are quite a few. I have had 8 guys get interviews from my navy squadron, not including me. 2 of us are already in ground school and a few others are on there way to the 2nd interview this month. 1 didn't make it past the first interview, 1 got hired but went to SWA, 2 others turned down the first interview to go to SWA.

I got hired as a Direct Entry F/O with 2800TT, 2500Turbine, and 2200PIC turbine. I was a EA-6B, T-45 guy.

My buddy got hired as an DE Second Officer with 1500TT and about 1300PIC turbine. He flew AV-8's and T-45's thus he had no multi-engine time.

There are a few of us here, but not too many. I don't know of any USAF guys. They are having a hiring frenzy so get you app in and who knows.

If you meet the requirements they will look at you. As for ex TWA etc... two ex TWA guys were chopped in training recently.... Havent heard of any USN guys being chopped....yet.

As for CX vs SWA, why the hell would you go to SouthWest ?

Military gets chopped like everyone else. Why SWA?? Go to work for CX and ask ourself that question in 3 years. Personally, I have found that as I get older, money takes a back seat to my life, my soul, and my dignity. Good luck!
