CX Fleet Update numbers anyone??

Hi all,

A quick question to anyone who has the answer regarding fleet numbers at CX.

It doesnt appear that the numbers on the web site have been updated as I understand some new A330's have been delivered over the past few months.

I am having trouble finding accurate fleet numbers so if anyone could steer me in the right direction that would be appreciated.

For all those interested I will post the answers and an interview debrief in a couple of weeks when I return.

Cheers ,

RR

CX should pay me for this;

89 total
19; 747-400
7; 747-200 freighter
6; 747-400 freighter
11; 777-300
5; 777-200
23; A330-300
15; A340-300
3; A340-600

3 A330-300s are coming this year and 3 more before the end of 2007

1 777-300 was delivered last month and 1 more before the end of 2007

8 used 747-400s from SQ

My advice to you, read all their press releases, that's how I got these informations.

Regarding fleet numbers. The way I found out about them were thru the CX web site and looking under the investors report for the year 2004. With that info I found that by looking under press releases and/or investors relations I was able to keep a tab on aircraft orders. The CX web site is usually good about those kinds of details.
Are you sure CX has new 330's or are they for AHK?
Good luck.

Looks like Medwin beat me to it. Good job Medwin. How\'s training?

Yes, we have new 330's coming. AHK only use 306's.

Medwin,

Thanks for the info, I have been going through the press releases since feb (good advice as you suggested) and came up with similar numbers to yourself.

Just wanted to check my numbers so I appreciate your effort.

It is also likely that the A330's "I heard about" are for AHK.

cheers all

RR

Amendment to my last, its friday and been a loooooong week.

A330\'s for CX not AHK, delivery dates not known as yet.

Im going to lie down for a while

CFLL,

It would be 91 if you include the 2 747-400 that is currently in the shop (pax to cargo configuration).

A330 deliveries are from June 2005 to July 2007. 3 of the 6 aircraft are to be delivered in 2005. All per an old press release.

Speaking of press releases, anybody else catch the error in the recent SF press release:
"Cathay Pacific's current Boeing 747 fleet comprises 8 B747-400 passenger and 6 B747-400F production freighters." Only off by 10 744s.
