Operations in and Around Typhoons

I did a search on the tech log and the only thing that I found was to avoid operating in and around a typhoon. But...I have heard of CX asking the question (taxi, takeoff, and landing).

Anybody know what they want to hear?

I answered that question by applying the same procedure as windshear.

Mayday,

I agree with above post. They want to know what precautions you would take or what thoughts go through your head in preparing for take off in windshear conditions, as well as approach.

Things like:
Take off flap setting (boeing have a particular flap setting for take off in turb conditions).
Thrust setting
Perhaps delaying the departure
Airspeed on final

Leading of course to : What would you do if you encountered windshear on final ?

Hope this helps.
