anyone interested?
hi everyone,
since we all are wannabes either of cathay or dragonair.. why dont we open a club (online) or u know exchange msn, messengers.. whatever... so that we can share information easily and quickly, and also get to know our competitors?
its just an idea, we can start one if everyone supports it.
what do u think? let me know thru pm or this forum.. i will be checking it regularily

I think it's great that you're taking responsibility for success in your career - I'm on a similar path. I've discovered that it's important to glean knowledge wherever you can and to keep your mind open. You never know when you'll learn something
This has been a great forum for me - I've learned about living conditions in Hong Kong and the area, discovered some new sources of information, been pointed in the right areas of study - the list goes on. Sometimes the information comes in the form of an opinion, sometimes someone has misunderstood something earlier and passes on incorrect information by mistake but lots of times the information is passed on by folks who hold positions we aspire to, from experience we have yet to get. I think that's really valuable.
Anyway, the long and short of this post is.....isn't this forum exactly what you're talking about?

yeah i understand that this forum is there to dicuss all that.. but its hard to meet or even make friends in this forum.. its a discussion forum, right?/
so i take the opportunity to see whether people wants to make friends or build up relationship who holds the same dream and passion.

anyone hosts an irc server? if we all talk in an irc server we'll have more info together ^^ and the person with the server could always archive the history of the channel and send to ppl, just a thought.

If someone does get a dedicated web going for the purpose stated could you please post the location on this forum so that we all may have a chance to participate?
Or, is it better that we remain on the PPrune web so that the best source for resources remains, as it has for so long, within PPRUNE?
