Applying to Cathay Cadet Program without PIC

If I am currently in the process of acquiring the HK PIC card, can I still apply to Cathay Pacific Cadet Pogram?

Also do I need a Hong Kong passport to apply for the Cathay Pacific Cadet Program and if so, how long does it take to get?

Have you put your application for the new ID to the department yet? Because if you have, then you should get this temporary paper document as your ID in Hong Kong. I had no problems at all with mine when I went for my interview. The paperwork is just the same as your ID card. with your names n pic on it.

for the passport issue. i dont think you need a HKSAR PASSPORT.. its BS, if cathay requires it.... so u dont have to worry about it.
